Obituary of Dale Wilson George Kirkland
DALE WILSON GEORGE KIRKLAND
Known affectionately as “Uncle Dale” to very many.
Born: October 10, 1940, in Regina, Sk.
Passed away: July 14, 2020, at age 79 in Prince Albert, Sk.
Son of James and Gertrude Kirkland. Raised in Mistatim, Sk.
Married Evelyn Ewan, at Arpad United Church, Mistatim, Sk. in 1965.
A Journeyman Electrician, he retired from the Prince Albert Penitentiary in 2005.
Throughout the years he was involved in many organizations, including The Coachman, The Foresters, The Caledonian Society, amongst others.
He enjoyed volunteering with the Cancer Society and attended many a Robbie Burns Supper.
And he was known and loved by his church community, Prince Albert Alliance Church.
Uncle Dale loved motorcycles, classic cars, model trains, most anything John Deere (and had an affinity for Siamese cats). He enjoyed his grandchildren immensely.
Survived and loved by:
his wife of 55 years, Evelyn.
his brother Gordon (Joanne) and his nieces and nephews, Scott, Todd (Blair), Tara (Todd), Chera (Kristin)
his sons: Neil (Wendy) – Anna, Ava and Devon (Amber) – Ella, Aaron
and many friends.
