Obituary
OBARYMSKYJ, Daisy – Suddenly in Warkworth, in the early hours of the morning, on Tuesday October 6, 2020 at the age of 91. Loving mother of Andrij Obarymskyj (Cathy) of Warkworth, ON. Devoted grandmother to grandchildren Kristjan Obarymskyj (Pamela) of Kitchener ON, Lesia Obarymskyj (Michael), and great-grandsons, Trey Obarymskyj and Jason Pshnychny of Sault Ste Marie ON. Fondly remembered by Valerie Obarymskyj. Predeceased by her siblings, Doris, Mabel, Bill, Lillian, and her parents Daisy (nee Fairhurst) and William Shepherd. Daisy was born and raised in Lincoln UK. She emigrated to Canada in 1955 with her husband Michael Obarymskyj and infant son where they settled in Toronto. From 1988 to 2016 Daisy lived in Sault Ste Marie to be closer to Andrij’s family. She enjoyed the friendships she made during her four years as a resident of Warkworth ON, living independently at the Mill Creek Manor and spending time with her son and daughter-in-law. We love you so very much and miss you. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Bridge Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
