Cynthia’s Obituary
It is with Heavy hearts that the families of the late Cynthia Kelly nee Harnum announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Friday, April 17th, 2020, at the age of 81 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories her sons; David (Bernette), and Karl (Brenda), her grandchildren; Nadine (Andrew) Margeson, Michael (Bobby-Joe), Matthew (Paulette), Ashley (Glenn) Colbourne, Allison (Craig) Taylor, and Kristen Kelly (Tony Taleb) and Thor, her great grandchildren; Mia, Kegan, Rachel, Leah, Chase, Quinn, Brooke, Violet, Miles, and Jackson, her sister; Geraldine Newhook, her daughter-in-law; Audrey Kelly, and brother-in-law; Ronald Kelly, Cynthia was predeceased by her husband; Mike Kelly, parents; Francis and Albert Harnum, her son; Tony Kelly, daughter; Glynis Kelly, and sister; Jean Kelly. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and her Church friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Cynthia’s memory to the Church of The Ascension, in Howley, NL.
A special thank you to the Doctors and nurses and staff of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, especially the nurses of the Palliative care unit. Thank-You.
Cynthia loved her family and showed it in so many ways. She also had a another love and it was for God, Cynthia acted as Church Warden of the Church of The Ascension, in Howley, NL, for many years, not only did she act as warden, but she was the cleaner maintence keeper. Cynthia was also a Chef for all Clergy and people that came from afar. You had to have something to eat before you travelled back. Cynthia was very proud of her Church.

The Government restrictions, there will be a private viewing for Immediate family, and the Virtual live stream of the service, will take place on Monday, April 20th, 2020, at 1:00 pm, with Canon Paulette Bugden officiating, if you wish to view this service please go to our face book page @ Parsons Funeral Home (Deer Lake) to see this service, then a private burial service to follow at the family plot of the Church cemetery in Howley, NL.
