Ethel Coombs was born to Jacob and Muriel Applin of Shoal Cove West on May 7, 1949, and passed peacefully away on October 26, 2020 at the Curtis memorial hospital in St. Anthony nl. She had 11 siblings; Seven sisters, Lucy, Elma, Ivy, Sheila, Gertrude, Valerie and Peggy, Four Brothers, Gorden, George, Jacob, And Ross. Ethel was a very caring, tender hearted and loving woman devoted to her family. She was a great wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She leaves to mourn: husband Robert Coombs, Daughter Veronica (Randy), Son Ford (Shawna), Granddaughter Hunter, Grandson Gaylen. She was predeceased by her dad Jacob, Mother Muriel, Sisters Lucy and Ivy, Brothers Gorden, George and Jacob, Her Father in Law Cecil Coombs and mother in law Vera Coombs. Cremation took place with funeral and burial details to be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral Director.
