Obituary of Clive Bamford Parlee
It is with great sadness that the family of Clive Bamford Parlee announce his peaceful passing on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Shannex-Tucker Hall. Born on May 10, 1933 in Chipman, NB, he was a son of the late Nelson and Ruby (Fulton) Parlee.
Clive enjoyed a 43 year career with Baxter Dairies. He was a dedicated member of the Lancaster Golden Service Club and the Coverdale Lodge Masons. In his spare time, Clive enjoyed playing softball, bowling and was an avid golfer. Most important to Clive though, was his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Clive will lovingly be remembered by his children, Brenda Mackie (Ed), Stephen Parlee (Elaine), Greg Parlee (Rose Mary), Margo Marshall (Rick), Cheryl Boudreau (Ron), Lori Ryan (Richard) and Michael Parlee (Joyce); siblings, Carmen Parlee (Doreen), Marena Parent (the late Charles), Rita Vautour (the late Eddie), Judy Clarke (the late Willard), Donnie Parlee (Mary Anne) and Debbie Fulton (Almon); grandchildren, Jennifer Ganong (Nick), Jillian Mackie, Sarah Spears (Brad), Tanya Kelley (Ryan), Kayla Parlee (Matt), Teagan Brown (Elliott), Allison Marshall, Patty Marshall (Kyle), Jeremiah Lounsbury (Niki), Michael Boudreau, (Jerika), Kevin Boudreau, Emma Parlee and Eric Parlee; several great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Brian Melvin (Linda); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Clive was predeceased by his wife Marjorie and his brother, Herbie.
The family would like to thank the staff of Shannex-Tucker Hall for all the care and friendship shown to Clive during his time there. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 2:00 – 2:45 PM with a funeral service to immediately follow at 3:00 PM from Brenan’s Chapel. Guests are asked to enter the funeral home using the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol..
