LUTZ, Clinton Benjamin ~ Age 90, East Kingston, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on October 12, 1929, in Aylesford Mountain, Kings Co., he was a son of the late Clyde N. and Ruby M. (Porter) Lutz. Clinton had worked in construction for the municipality of Bedford, later for Standard Paving and finally at Larsen Packers, Berwick, retiring in 1990. He was an avid hunter, enjoying time spent outdoors and was an adherent of Aylesford United Church. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, the former Doris E. Rafuse Langille; daughters, Debra Lutz, Laval, Que.; Shelley (Len) Lutz, St. Francis Harbour; Laurie Sarty, Bentley, Alta; Susan (Douglas) Reeves, Rocky House, Rocky Mountain, Alta; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Greta Baltzer, Grand View Manor, Berwick; Valreta (Lloyd) Conrad, Mahone Bay; Clyde Lutz Jr., Morden; Albert Lutz, Aylesford; Leon Lutz, Morden Mountain; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by first wife the former Miriam G. Ritchie; sisters, Audrey and Lillian Lutz; Shirley Murphy; half-sisters, Marion Hawksworth; Dorothy Corkum; brother, Fred Lutz. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday evening in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 23.
