Obituary of Charles William Marshall
The passing of Charles William Marshall of Durham Bridge, NB, husband of Jackie (Lavigne) Marshall occurred on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 4, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen “Kay” (Quigley) Marshall. He worked for the Province of New Brunswick. Charlie loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed being with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Jackie, Charlie is survived by his sons, Doug Marshall (Shannon) and Kaine Marshall (Tricia); three grandchildren, Kara, Anthony and Ashley; two great grandchildren, Jack and Mason; his siblings, Wanda Scott, Allan Marshall, Tim Marshall and Anne Marshall all of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Saunders.
Due to the current health concerns a private Celebration of Life Ceremony by invitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Penniac United Church Cemetery at a later date. The family wish to express additional thanks to Beckie Olson for all the support she offered to us and our extended family in our time of need. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
