Chuck passed away on April 14, 2020 at the age of 86 years. He is now at home with his Lord and Saviour. Left to mourn is his loving wife Joyce, son Jeff (Donna) Heald of Buckeye, Arizona, daughter Jodi (Jack) Van Campen of Buckeye, Arizona, four grandchildren: Ryan (Krystal) Heald, Jacinta Heald, Amy (Jeff) Taylor, and Dylan Van Campen and four great-grandchildren. Three nieces, one nephew, many extended family and friends.
Chuck was predeceased by his parents Merrill and Genevive Heald and two sisters Barbara and Beverley. Chuck was born on April 17, 1933 and raised in Seattle, Washington. At the age of 18, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. and served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged as a Sargent January 1, 1955. He continued to live and work in Seattle until 1970, then moved to Hawaii where he had his own tour bus business and later worked in property management. It was on one of these tour buses he met Joyce (nee Fertuck) of Saskatoon. They were married in 1985 and due to circumstances settled in Saskatoon. Chuck continued to work in property management until his retirement in 1998.
He was an active member of Fairmont Baptist church while health permitted. A private family gathering will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
