Cecilia Carson
In her 88th year, Cecilia Carson of London, formerly of Thunder Bay, Victoria and Austria, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at Kensington Village on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Thomas David Carson (2007). She will be dearly missed by her daughter Helga Baumann (Sue), granddaughter, Julie Baumann (Wes) and her great-grandchildren Ayla and Stone, who Cecilia especially loved and was very proud of. Cecilia is also survived by Sisters Barbara Grubner and Gerti Woergoetter in Austria and Margret Mauracher in Thunder Bay. Also greatly missing her are many loving nieces and nephews in Canada and Austria. Cecilia worked for many years as Food Service Manager at Eaton’s restaurants in Thunder Bay, London and Sarnia.
Special thanks to Dr. Elena Matusa who lovingly cared for her for the last five years and a very special Thank You to Daisy and Harris, her neighbours at Kensington, for their caring, kindness and support through the Covid lockdown. Thank You also to Kensington staff.
At Cecilia’s request there will be no visitation or Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place with interment Victoria, B.C. at a later date.
