Heaven welcomes home a true angel. Surrounded by her loving husband of 64 years, Don Laporte, daughters Sue (Rich) Will and Debbie (Dave) Jacques on Saturday October 17, 2020.
Loved deeply by her Grandson’s Chris (Jessica) Malott, Michael Jacques and Bobby (Christine) Jacques. Cherished by her great-grandchildren Blake, Lyla, Simon, Isaac, Dale and Kathryn. Sister to Jean Talbot, predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law Lawrence Talbot, Gladys (Emmett) McCoo, Rita (Ted) Tonellato and Betty Lassaline. Sister-in-law to Euclide and Paulette Laporte, Romeo and Peggy Laporte, Rita (nee. Lappan). Predeceased by Rose (Peter) Lappan, Leonard (Veronica) Laporte, Eva (Gerry) Benson, Russell (Margaret) Laporte, Irene (Norman) Dupuis, Bernice Delaurier and Lorraine (Ed) Beyma. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Godmother to Paula Talbot and Guy Laporte. Her greatest joy was giving to those in need and feeling the love in their heart in return. She crocheted 5000 baby hats through Rotary for the newborns at Met Hospital. Mom was a devoted Catholic to her church and dedicated many years to the parish of St. John Vianney. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Our deepest appreciation to the 4th floor north and I.C.U. nursing staff and doctors for their outstanding dedication to her. On Tuesday October 20, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 2:00 – 4:00PM & 7:30 – 9:00PM with parish prayers to be held at 7:00PM at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd.
