Carolyn Joyce Rayner
1945-2020
The death occurred suddenly at the Western Hospital,
Alberton, on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, of Carolyn Joyce Rayner, of
the Lady Slipper Villa, O’Leary, aged 75 years. Survived by her
husband Ivan Rayner of Nanaimo, BC. Born at Elmsdale on
January 3, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Marion (nee
Williams) MacArthur.
Loving mother to Brian Rayner, Victoria, BC, Tanya Rayner of
Duncan, BC and Scott Rayner, Sudbury, ON. Caring grandmother to
Conner. Dear sister to Norma (Ralph) Brennan, Alberton, Roy (Ida)
McArthur, Alberton, and Ralph (June) McArthur, Springvale,
PE. Also survived by a brother-in-law, Henry Wallace,
Cascumpec. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by a sister, Velma Wallace.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. A
private funeral for family and invited guests will be held on Tuesday,
September 8th, at 2:00 p.m., Gordon Weatherby, officiating. Visitation
for family and invited guests on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. until time of
funeral.
Interment in the Greenmount Church of Christ Cemetery. As an
expression of sympathy, memorials to the Parkinson’s Foundation would
be gratefully appreciated.
