Obituary
Carolyn Joy Eloise Davis passed away February 13, 2020 at the Chinook Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of William (Joe) Davis (deceased) and loving mother of Nicole, Krystal, Lance (Stacie) and adoring grandmother to Samuel, Oliver, and Chloe Davis. Left to cherish her memory are her mother Pauline Price and father Dean Price (Bill Navratil), mother-in-law Eleanor (Bill, Deceased) Davis, brother-in-law Brian (Dawn) Davis, and sister-in-law Deanna (Dave) Kroeker.
Carolyn was born in Olds, Alberta on July 26th, 1962 to Dean and Pauline Price. At about 6 years old Pauline and Carolyn moved to Cranbrook British Columbia, where Carolyn continued going to school, playing softball, and basketball. She graduated from Mount Baker High School with full scholarships in both sports. In her spare time she could be found hiking, camping and enjoying the attractions of Cranbrook and surrounding areas.
Carolyn started working for SAAN store in Cranbrook when she was 14 until she was 23 when she welcomed her son Lance into the world. Shortly after Lance’s birth, Carolyn accepted a transfer to the SAAN store in Pincher Creek, Alberta. This is where she met her future Aunt Binkie, who then introduced Carolyn to the love of her life, Joe Davis.
Carolyn and Joe were married on February 14, 1989 and expanded their family with the birth of their first daughter Krystal, followed by their second daughter Nicole. Together, they raised their three wonderful children on the Family Farm.
While Carolyn bravely battled cancer for 2 ½ years, she was able to strengthen her family ties and develop special bonds with her three grandchildren. Her days were filled with love and laughter.
Carolyn will be remembered fondly and missed often.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Eden’s Funeral Home, 966 Elm Street Pincher Creek, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (1331 29 Street NW Calgary, Alberta T2N 4N2) in memory of Carolyn.
