Carman Ross Stacey, lifelong resident of St Marys, passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on December 28, 2020 at the age of 81.
Carman is survived by his sisters Verna Blackler of St. Marys, Emma Carruthers of Stratford, Audrey Sanchez (Louis) of California and sister-in-law Ann Stacey (nee Thompson). He will also be remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families.
Carman was predeceased by his parents Bertram and Ruby (nee Weir), siblings Ray Stacey (Doreen), Oliver Stacey, Laura Shaw (Eugene “Sib”), nephew Richard Shaw, niece Susan Donen (nee Carruthers) and brothers-in-law Burns Blackler, and John Carruthers.
Member of the Perth Regiment Veterans St. Marys Br. 236 Royal Canadian Legion, 50 plus year member of the St. Marys Army Navy & Airforce Br. 265, Life-long member of the St. Marys Kinsmen Club and K40. Proud former employee of Norampac and McLean-Taylor.
Carman’s family wish to thank the staff at C.C.A.C., Maplewood Manor in Seaforth, St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Action Medical.
Cremation to take place with a service to be held at a later date.
