Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Delphine (Weaver) Huntley on December 20, 2020 at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 22, 1948 in Canning, NS to the late David and Annie (Rogers) Weaver and was the loving wife to the late Paul Huntley.
Brenda spent her life caring for her family. She was a faithful woman who greatly enjoyed going to church when she was able. She enjoyed going to the “Jams” in Halls Harbour with her friends and going shopping with the girls. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son Craig (Cynthia) Attwell; 3 grandchildren, Cody, Tawny and Dennis; adored great grandchild, Dean; brother David (Linda); 2 sisters, Sylvia and Darlene; along with several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Heather, Sharon and Margaret.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, no formal services will be held. When border restrictions loosen, a celebration for her will be held in her hometown in Nova Scotia. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
