Along with his teammates from: Kaboni Tigers, Lumberjacks, Hillbillies, T-Birds and the CS Warriors.
There really was not a sport that Branden did not play and excel at. His first love was hockey where his determination and skill proved top notch. He played for many Junior A Hockey teams including the Manitoulin Islanders,
the Blind River Beavers, the Espanola Eagles
and the Manitoulin Panthers.
His other loves were not far behind, such as; volleyball (NOSSA Boys Volleyball Champs), baseball, basketball, golf, horseshoes and tennis. Branden’s Wasse Abin High School’s Athlete of the Year award shows us just how much he loved playing sports.
Branden’s infectious smile and laughter always rubbed off on many of the people he bumped into. He is also quite a jokester. If you lost something that was just there or heard something and couldn’t explain it, there is no doubt, Branden had something to do with it!
Please join us to celebrate the life of
Branden Jules Lee Ominika, a.k.a « Batista ».
