Bonita M. Flekke
1941-2020
Bonita « Bonnie » M. Flekke, 79, of Riverview and
formerly of BC, passed away at Faubourg du Mascaret Pavillan Richard
in Moncton on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Born in Truro, NS; she was the
daughter of the late Douglas and Euphemia (MacEachern)
MacDonald.
Bonnie loved to travel and has lived in England, Peru, Hawaii
and spent most of he life in BC, where she raised her family. Bonnie
loved to entertain, dance and sing. She was a loving and caring
mother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Robert MacDonald of
Japan and Lanny MacDonald of BC, Winnie Belliveau, Graham MacDonald,
Debbie Dupuis and Leslye Tower all of Riverview; her children Simeon
Bidiuk of BC, Byron Flekke (Sara) of BC, Steven Bidiuk of Moncton and
Diane Bidiuk (Stef) of BC; grand-daughters Madison Harper, Stella
Flekke and grandson Jack Flekke all of BC; as well as several nieces
and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband
Kenneth Flekke and by her brothers Michael MacDonald, Ronald
MacDonald and Malcolm MacDonald.
Honouring Bonnie’s wishes cremation has taken place
and a private family service will be held at a later date in
Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Donations in Bonnie’s memory made to a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers Riverview
Funeral Home and Crematorium.
