Obituary
BEVERLY JEAN GIBSON, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 24, 2019.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge.
Beverly was born on her family’s farm in Milk River, Alberta to Regina and Leif Erickson on July 10, 1958. She was the youngest after 4 brothers. She spent her childhood in Milk River and later moved to the Lethbridge area where she met and married her husband. Beverly stayed and raised a family, attended college, and spent many years working in retail which she loved, due to her outgoing personality. Beverly was involved with many clubs throughout the 40 years she spent in Lethbridge. She enjoyed spending time with her children and later her grandchildren. Beverly spent the remainder of her life at St Michael’s Health Center under the loving care of their staff where she enjoyed various activities such as bingo and music. She will be greatly missed.
Beverly is preceded in death by her father and grandmother.
Beverly is survived by her children Terri Dillabough (Robert) and Jessica; her brothers Edward (Karen), David (Wanda), Dale (Laurel) and Allan (Rita); her mother Regina; as well as her grand children Joshua-Robert, Zander, Cindy, Jaxon-Rhyder and Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
The family of Beverly wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at St Michael’s Health Center, as well as the Chinook Regional Hospital and to Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home.
