Bernard Roy (King)
1943-2020
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Bernard Roy 77, of
Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.
Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton on Sunday, August 23,
2020. Born in Cap Lumiere, he was the son of the late
Augustin King and late Hélène Allain.
He was a lobster fisherman and later on was employed at the fish
processing plant in Pointe-Sapin and retired from there.
Bernard was very proud of his father’s company, Clovis King
& Sons Seafood Plant.
Bernard will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Ginette
Roy, Sylvie LeBlanc (Daniel) both of Dieppe; one granddaughter, Janie
Allain; two step grandchildren, Sebastien and Mathieu LeBlanc; special
friend, Mérilda Richard and the mother of his daughters,
Doris Richard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday beginning at 1:30 – 3:30
pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August
27, 2020 at 4:00 pm at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church
in Richibouctou-Village.

in Richibucto (523-4252).
