Obituary of Barbara Ann Jensen
Barbara Ann Jensen, 72 of Port Williams lost her battle with cancer on May 19, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital with her loving husband by her side. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Brnight) Slaunwhite.
Barb was a dedicated member of the Lioness Club of Port William for over 20 years and the TOPS Club for over 40 years.
“This amazing woman will be missed every day. She was one in a million and would bring a smile to any room she came in. Barb was such the life of the party and taught us all that we could do anything you put your mind too. We know her beautiful and kind soul is in a better place watching over all her beloved family and friends.”
She is survived by her husband, Flemming; sons Robin (Jenny Haynes) Jensen and Arne (Krista) Jensen; daughter Patricia (Andrew) Silver; grandchildren Nathan Marr, Brandon Bezanson, Devon Bezanson, Brienne Bezanson, Kelsey Jensen, Cameron Jensen and James Jensen; great-grandchildren Noah Jensen, Gavin Jensen, Cohen Jensen and Baylee Marr; brothers Ernie (Terrylee) Slaunwhite and Eddie Slaunwhite; sister-in-law Colette (Harold) Slaunwhite.
Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by her brothers Bobby Slaunwhite and Harold D. Slaunwhite.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Valley Hospice Foundation . Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
