It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Bailey James Wilton. Son, brother, grandson and so much more. Tragically taken Friday, October 9, 2020 at just 20 years old.
Bailey is the oldest son of 4 children, he was born June 24, 2000 in Red Deer Alberta. He lived in Manitoba for a few years before he settled into Calgary. Bailey graduated from Jack James high school in 2018 going on to attend S.A.I.T. for a year.
As a son, Bailey was an easy going child. Always trying to put a smile on everyone’s faces. His dimples doing the trick every time. Family was important to him and he was always willing to help out with his younger siblings.
Bailey loved being an older brother. From spending time fishing with Byron, playing PlayStation with Keegan, to the many trips to the zoo or park to play frisbee with his sister Makayla.
Anyone that knew Bailey knew that he had a great love of hockey. More specifically for the Calgary Flames. He enjoyed attending the games and meet and greets with his family and friends. He was very proud of his flame’s jerseys.
Those that crossed paths with Bailey know just how kind, loving and amazing he really is. Always hardworking and a source of positivity.
Bailey Bear will be lovingly missed and remembered by his parents, Brian and Kim Wilton together with their children Byron, Keegan and Makayla Wilton.
As well as immediate family, Bailey will be remembered by great-grandparents, Phyllis Abramson, and Gus and Marg Valstar; grandparents, Nancy and Carl Trolley, Nell and Wayne Brabant, Jack and Sherry Tocher; Aunts and Uncles, Jacque and Merv Svederus along with their children Emma and Tyson, Nicole and Marc Moebis along with their children Jessica, Megan and Mason, Charmaine and Jeremy Paquette along with their boys Alexander, Leo and the late Thomas, Stephan and Johanna Wilton along with their children Skylar and Stephan Jr., Christina and the late Robert Smith along with their daughter Teresa Andrus-Crombie and her children Dayton and Darbi; as well as many other great aunts uncles and cousins.
Bailey was predeceased by great-nana, Lilian Wilton; great-grandma Marion Thomas; great-grandpa Bob Tocher; great-grandma Ruth Clary; grandpa Maurice Wilton, great-aunt Betty.
Bailey will also be forever remembered by his extended family at McCanns Building Movers. Bailey has been a valued part of his work family since he was a young teenager. He will be missed greatly by them.
Bailey touched many lives in his short time with us and will be missed with all our hearts forever and always. We love you BB Bear.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In the meantime, remember Bailey when you wear red or your hockey jersey.
