Asaph (Ace)’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Asaph Earl Payne (Ace) announce his passing at his family residence in Cow Head, NL, on Sunday, October 11th, 2020, at the age of 70 years.
Sadly missed by his wife of 38 years., Brenda nee Hoyles, his children; Frank (Bonnie) of Wabush, Lab, and Norman (Ada-Marie) of Halifax, NS, his two grandchildren; Tyler, and Taylin, his mother; Mrs. Mary Payne, his siblings; Janet (Brian), Steve (Laverne), Heber, Irene (Todd), Keith (Marlene), and Leah. Ace was predeceased by his father; Stanley, and sister; Hannah, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
There will be a private family viewing at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020, from the hours of 2-4 pm, and then continue at the St Mary »s the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL ,on Wednesday October 14th, 2020, from the hours of 7-9pm, where also a private funeral service will be held at St. Mary »s the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Thursday, October 15th, 2020, at 2:00 pm, with the Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery, in Cow Head, NL.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Aces memory to The Jane way Children’s Hospital.
