With his wife at his bedside, Arnie Lang died peacefully on the evening of October 6, 2020. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Mukti, his sister Pauline Payne, his brother Clarke and sister-in-law, Roberta. His many nieces, nephews and good friends will miss his welcoming smile and wonderful sense of humour.
Arnie was born in Dublin, Ireland, immigrated to Canada in 1954 and graduated as an Ontario Scholar from St Michael’s College High School in Toronto. Arnie was a Medical Graduate of University of Toronto, 1971. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Pathology, 1977. He worked at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga and Humber River Regional Hospital. Arnie was well liked and respected by his colleagues until retiring in 2010.
Arnie spent his final year at Sage Care on Elder Street. The compassionate care Arnie received is greatly appreciated by all his family.
A Private family gathering will be held to celebrate Arnie’s life.
