Antonia Leigh, 81, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away peacefully at her home. Born January 1939 in Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Ida (Barthe) Arseneau.
She is survived by three children, all of Edmonton: Alexandra Peterson (Bruce), James Leigh (Candice and Inara), and David Leigh Jr. (Allison); four grandchildren: Rebecca, Summer, Casey and Caleb; three sisters: Annonciade Arsenault (late Germain) of Petit-Rocher, NB, Marie Frenette (late Léo) of Bathurst, NB, and Émérentienne Lacroix (Donat) of Caraquet, NB; one brother, Thomas Arseneau (Bernardine) of Petit-Rocher, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, David (2016); one sister: Paula LeBreton (late Richard), and three brothers: Normand, Albert, François and Tia’s infant twin sister Véronique.
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Due to the Coronavirus, the Funeral Mass is being postponed in favour of a later date, which will be announced. In memory of Tia, a contribution to the Edmonton Food Bank would be appreciated.
