Annie Pauline Arsenault 2020

Annie Pauline Arsenault
Annie Pauline Arsenault passed
away peacefully at the Veterans’ Health Centre on January
27, 2020. Born in Coal Branch, New Brunswick on February 23, 1925, she
was the daughter of the late Gilbert Peters and Emily Peters
(Spencer).
Annie was a WW II Veteran,
having enlisted in the Canadian Womens’ Army Corps. She was
a member of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch No. 6 and the Ladies’ Auxillary. She
was a volunteer RCMP for over 10 years and a Red Cross volunteer; she
was a member of the Magnetic Hill Lioness. Annie nursed at The Moncton
Hospital for over 32 years. She was a devoted wife and mother. She
taught ceramics and was a beautiful painter. Annie loved nature
– the sunset, the moon, the birds and animals. She was a
gifted musician – she played the guitar, accordion,
harmonica and pump organ; our home was filled with the sound of our
family and friends singing.
Predeceased by her beloved
husband, Jimmy, in 2017, she will be sadly missed by her children,
Gary Gauvin (Janet) of Gallagher Ridge, Cheryl Anne Arsenault, Darlene
Landry and Daryl Arsenault (Kimberley) all of Lutes Mountain;
grandchildren, Darren Gauvin (Tammy), Angie Bourque (René)
and Nicholas and William Arsenault; great grandchildren, Alyssa,
Jacob, Carter, Brandon and Ryan and her half sister, Anna Peters, of
Coal Branch.
In addition to her parents,
Annie was predeceased by her brother, Charlie and sister, Kathleen;
first husband, Laurie Gauvin and her son, Douglas
« Dougie ».
We would like to especially
thank all of the amazing staff at the Veterans’ Health
Centre – we will be forever grateful for your care and
compassion.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from

31, 2020 at 10:00 am, with Rev. Charles Broderick presiding. Reception
