Anna’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Saturday, October 3, 2020 Anna Hawkins age 82 years 10 months of
Greenspond.
Predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd; daughter Linda Joy; parents Robert and Maggie Burton; sisters Beatrice Burry (William), Lillian Maher (Thomas) and Mary Feltham (Darius); brothers Isaac (Gertrude), Robert, George and Cluney; brother-in-law Lawrence Wornell.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters Maggie (Reg) and Mary (Thomas) Hoskins; sons James (Daisy), Donald (Susan) and Gerald (Patrina); grandchildren Jeffrey Hawkins (Lori), Jennifer Hunt (Edgar), Michael Hawkins (Sheena), Neil Hoskins (Ashley), Nancy Ledrew (Glen), Glenn Hawkins, Jarod Hawkins (Megan) and Jade Hawkins (Tyler); great-grandchildren Brooke Hawkins(Ryan), Shelby Hawkins, Paige Hawkins, Callie Hawkins, Nicholas Hawkins, wight Hawkins, Jonah Ledrew, Kaiden Ledrew, Avah Ledrew, Jenna Hoskins, Nathan Hoskins, Sarah Hoskins, Noah Hunt and Lucas Hunt (Ocean); brothers Darius Burton (Bernice), Arthur Burton (Carol) and Boyd Burton (Rexine); sister Averil Wornell; sisters-in-law Ethel Burton, Edna Burton, Nina Burton, Betty Hawkins and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations; visitation, funeral and burial will be by invitation only.
Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Greenspond with Rev. David Cook officiating. Interment to follow at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Greenspond.
As an expression of sympathy donations in Anna’s memory may be made to The Hawkins Family and a decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
