It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother and grandmother at home surrounded by family on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the age of 82. Cherished wife of the late Dr. Victor Stanziani. Devoted mother to Victor, the late John, Frank (Ann), Joseph, Cecilia (Dino Vespa) and Mary Angela. Wonderful and loving Nonna to Emma and Liam Stanziani, Michael and Julia Stanziani, and Phillip and Victoria Vespa.
She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Angela was born and raised in San Francisco, California and was the only child of the late Frank and Cecilia Stanz. She was a Special Education Teacher in the Belmont School District (California) for three years before she met the love of her life, Dr. Victor C. Stanziani. She married Victor in 1963 and started a new life in Canada. Angela and Victor had six children and her training and experience as a Special Education Teacher prepared her well for the trials and tribulations of raising six children. She was a passionate volunteer at Our Lady of the Assumption Elementary School and long time member of the CWL at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. Angela was the proud Nonna to six wonderful grandchildren whom she loved and cherished all the days of her life.
God has called Angela home and our love for her will never die. Always a teacher at heart we are reminded of the words Nonna would always say to her grandchildren on leaving her home, “ I love you today, I love you tomorrow, I love you forever”! Angela was our angel, spiritual, generous and loving. She was loved by many and will forever be in the hearts and minds of her family and friends.
Private visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home. Mass and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be on Bay Gardens Funeral Home website.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Our Lady of The Assumption Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated.
