Obituary of Aneita Flora Latchford
LATCHFORD, Aneita Flora ~ entered into rest at QHC-Belleville General Hospital, on Monday, April 6th, 2020, at the age of 98. Aneita was proud to be able to stay in her home until 3 years ago when she moved to the Richmond Retirement Home. Dear daughter of the late Alexander & Myrtle (nee King) Goodfellow. Beloved wife of the late William Garnet Latchford. Cherished mother of; Marlene Parks, Mona Tummon Lyon (John), Nancy Pound (Graydon), & John Latchford (Darlene). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Bonnie Dafoe, Tony Parks (Bev), Allison Kamphuis (Mark), Cheryl Cairns (Kevin), Robert Pound, Debbie Tennant (Rick), Corey Latchford (Shawna), Jody Latchford (Allicia), her great grandchildren; Matt Dafoe (Sam), Brooke Brooks (Jordan), John-Ross Parks, Mia and Megan Kamphuis, Kai & Auden Cairns, Sydney Tennant, Lawson and Tripp Latchford and her great great grandchildren; Braelyn & Weston Dafoe. Dear sister of Irene Sherman (predeceased Jack), also predeceased by brother Floyd Goodfellow (Clara), and sister Freda Osborne (George). Dear aunt Neta to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons-in-law; Ross Parks and Wayne Tummon. Due to the current public health situation, and for the safety of the Latchford family and friends, a formal visitation and funeral will not be taking place at this time. A private visitation was held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, (613-968-2273), followed by a graveside service at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Roslin. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date (to be announced). As expressions of sympathy, donations to Christ Church in Belleville or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
