Obituary of Alvin Robert Draisey
DRAISEY: Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, October 26, 2020, Alvin Robert Draisey of RR 1, Exeter, age 76. Beloved husband of Mary Elizabeth (Patterson) Draisey. Loved father of Laura Phillips of Springhill, Florida. Cherished grandpa of Brieanna Phillips, Chance Phillips and Wyatt Phillips all of Florida. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Janice and Gary Copeland of Dorchester, Linda Draisey of London, Don and Dorla Patterson of Elmira, Allan and Gloria Patterson of Palmerston, Dina Patterson of Listowel, Gary and Mary Jo Patterson of Simcoe. Remembered by his nieces, nephews, their families and many special friends. Predeceased by his parents Alvin John and Mildred “Muriel” Doris (McComb) Draisey, son-in-law Ron Phillips, brother George Draisey, brother-in-law Ken Patterson. At Alvin’s request, cremation will take place. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Pastor Doug Watson Officiating. Alvin co-owned and operated Downtown London Electric in London. He was a man of many talents and he enjoyed flying and milling lumber. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the South Huron Hospital Foundation, London Health Sciences Centre – Cancer Clinic or Jessica’s House Residential Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
