With sadness, our family announces that Alton McKibbon passed away suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday morning, November 5, 2020 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Karen (McDonald) and his first wife, the late Dorothy (Derraugh).
Dearly loved father of Teri (Kerri) McKibbon and Valerie (Charles Woodburn).
Cherished and proud Grandfather of Parker, Sydney and Taylor McKibbon, Lauren and Alex Woodburn.
Survived by brother of Harold McKibbon. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Alton was a farmer, maple syrup producer, heavy equipment operator, skier, snowmobile racer, and motorcycle rider. Fond and happy memories were created at the Lake. Hunting was also a great pastime for him at this time of year. He had a passion for life, and was a wonderful father and husband.
Alton will be missed. His final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A celebration of Life will take place in 2021 at the Lake.
