Obituary of Allan David Moore
Allan David Moore, age 64 of Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at home. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of George Allan and Mary Maxine Moore.
Allan had the gift of being a great story teller, was an avid reader, spent many years out West, had a love for animals and was known by so many.
He is survived by his father George; his brother Barry (Laura) Moore; sisters Karen (Dennis) and Sandra; his four children, Jessica, Jason, Kyle and Brandon, five grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Allan is predeceased by his mother, Mary Maxine Moore.
Cremation has taken place and at the family’s request, there will be no church service but a family gathering to celebrate his life where he will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may made to Dartmouth First Church of the Nazarene, 1 Henry Street, Dartmouth, NS. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
