Obituary
Due to Covid-19 there will only be a burial service on Wednesday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. CST at the Holy Rosary Cemetery at Onion Lake, Saskatchewan.
There will be viewing available at Marshall’s Funeral Home:
Monday, December 28th: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
Tuesday, December 29th: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
There will be a maximum of 5 people allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask, and respect physical distancing regulations.
Allan Jimmy was born in Onion Lake, SK in 1943. He attended residential school in Onion Lake. He was a carpenter most of his life and an avid hockey player in his younger days. His passion continued into his later life, he enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s (chaban) hockey tournaments. Allan had a quiet personality. He enjoyed going to powwows, rodeos, and
he saw an opportunity to make a few dollars by putting up a concession stand at powwows.
Allan is predeceased by: his parents, Hector & Elizabeth Jimmy; his brother, Ronny Jimmy; his son, Ronnie Pachapis; and his daughter, Esther Pachapis.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his brother, Albert (Sharon) Jimmy; his sisters, Agnes (Elmer)Albert, and Alice Jimmy; his children, Darcy Pachapis (Marcia), Darlene Pachapis (Robert), Marlene Pachapis (Norman), Rose Ann Pachapis, and Vivian Lachance (Terry); his grandchildren and chabans, and numerous nephews and nieces.
