Peacefully, with family by his side, at Chapman House Hospice on Friday, December 18, 2020 in his 64th year.
Beloved husband of Betty Ann (nee Thompson) of Markdale. Loving father of Robert of Port Elgin and Jennifer (Curtis) Smith of Singhampton. Grandfather of Jack and Kade Smith. Loving brother of David (Debbie) Fawcett of Markdale. Brother-in-law to Bonnie (Ben) Palubiski, Don (Marg) Thompson, Brenda(the late Bruce) Hanna, Tom (Cindy) Thompson. Uncle to Andy, John, David, Jason, Nicole, Devin, Travis, and Tyler. Predeceased by parents Vernon and Freda Fawcett, niece Jordan Fawcett and nephew Steven Palubiski.
Allan (Chick) was a proud father, grandfather, coach, farmer, friend and community member. Always thinking of what he could do to help others. When not playing games and socializing with friends and family, you could find Al building and creating in his workshop. He loved his motorcycle and being on the open road.
A drive-by Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, December 21 at 1pm and 3pm at the family home, 465242 12th Concession A, Grey Highlands. Due to COVID-19 precautions and everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you remain in your vehicle, social distance and keep the flow of traffic moving. In lieu of flowers, donations to Chapman House Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
