It is
with great
sadness that the family announces the

a young

soon moved
to Thompson

their
young family.
As part of the
pioneers, who first went
to
Thompson in
1961, they quickly
became active
members ofthe community. They enjoyed
many of the sports
activities including bowling,
curling,
and watching skating/hockeyactivities
at the arena. Alice also enjoyed
her favorite pastimeof
playing bingo.
After 31 years of living in Thompson
they fulfilled a
promise to themselves
and
retired to
Freetown PEI
in
1993. Once settled in
PEI they again became
an integralpart of
the
community where they
became active
members of their
church, Eastern
Star and Masons/Shriners.

enjoyed square
dancing and of
course
Alice’s favorite
pastime
