Prior to retirement Alice worked at the cotton mill in Fredericton,
for Connor Brothers Ltd. and in home support. During the Christmas
season, she made wreathes from tips picked by her husband Keith at
their camp in Rollingdam.
Alice enjoyed traveling and road trips with her love, Keith. They have
been on many an adventure and have seen lots of countryside together.
Even as her mobility declined, Alice could be found at her
grandchildren’s sporting events. She loved cheering them on and
enjoyed watching Kaitlyn and Nicholas as cheerleaders and Jay has he
participated in hockey and football.
Alice was a selfless soul. A true matriarch, her love, guidance and
friendship will truly be missed by her family and friends. Alice was
an active volunteer for many years at Cornerstone Tabernacle, and she
greatly enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Buddy (Muriel)
MacDonald.
In her later years you could find Alice helping her neighbours as well
as making friends with all the nurses and staff at Charlotte County
Hospital. Upon her return home, Alice loved her Kindred girls and was
so greatly loved in return. She enjoyed time on Facebook viewing
pictures of her family and friends near and far. She also enjoyed
phone calls and visits. Alice was a great knitter and kept her family
members in dishcloths and slippers.
The family would like to thank Charlotte County Cancer for their
support to both Alice and Keith over these last few months. Also to
Kindred Home Care for their care and dedication to Alice. Thank you
does not feel like enough to, Carol, Jessica, Meg and all the girls,
