With heavy hearts, the family of Alfred Warman announces his sudden passing on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at home. Born in Halifax, “Alfie” or “Al” was the oldest son of the May (nee MacKenzie) and Harold Warman. Al enjoyed spending his time reading true crime novels and going fishing. He particularly enjoyed watching the deer and ducks that would visit the back yard of his home in Lake Echo as he sipped his morning coffee.
Besides his parents, Al was predeceased by his younger brother Milton. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Sharon Godin and step children, Tanya Godin (Tony Beck), Dartmouth, Trevor Godin, Wellington, Todd Godin, Dartmouth. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles (Deanna Keddy), Halifax, Peter, Lower Sackville, sisters Millie Gaudet (Francis), Halifax, Pearl Grenough (Robert), Sackville, NS, Heather Zwicker (Warren), Halifax, Lynn Hubley (Dave Whalen), Lower Sackville, Susan Warman, Dartmouth, Donna Wade (Christopher), Bedford, Marilyn Hewitt (Tim) Lower Sackville.
Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Al’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will take place at a later date when the family is able to gather together. In lieu of flowers, donations in Al’s memory may be made to Hope for Wildlife.
