Agnes « Aggie »‘s Obituary
Agnes “Aggie” (nee Fleming) Sabine-Pasley – Age 76, a long-time resident of Greenwood and a proud Newfoundlander, Aggie slipped peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday January 26 ,2020 at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton, following a short hospitalization. Aggie is survived by her daughter, Cindy (John) Charlton, Kingston, NS; her son, Gregory (Tracey Bastow) St. John’s, NL; the pride and joys of her life, her grandchildren, Matthew (Terri Lynn Munro) Spinney, Amanda and Katelyn Charlton and Violet and Tyler Pasley; great granddaughter, Maryn Spinney; her only remaining sister, Geraldine (Fred) Miller, St. John’s NL; sister in law, Joan Fleming and brother in law, Rick Watkins. Aggie was a very special aunt to many nieces and nephews of the Fleming and Pasley families, especially Sharon (Miller) King and Michelle (Watkins) Bulmer and Bill Pasley. Her circle of friends is vast, and her presence will be missed by so many in the community especially her good friends of the CWL, Irene Spinney, Shirley Penney and Mary Cesnick. The family would also like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton for the care they provided to our mother. Aggie was predeceased by her husband, Clinton; parents, Samuel and Margaret Fleming; brothers, Edward and Samuel Fleming; sisters, Gertrude Martin and Mary Watkins; aunt, Annie Stapleton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., Middleton, N.S. Toll Free 1-855-825-3448. A memorial Mass followed by a reception will be held at 3 pm Wednesday January 29th at Queen of Heaven Chapel, 2 Church St., Greenwood, N.S. Father Michael Conteh officiating. Flowers are gratefully accepted. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
