Abraham Cohen
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Abraham (Roger) Cohen, with courage and dignity, surrounded by his adoring family, on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Devoted husband of Ilana Hershkovitz for fifty-one wonderful years. Proud and adoring father and father-in-law of Dr. Isaac and Stella Cohen, Tamir Cohen and Sharon Sawdaye, Sharon Cohen Snider and Grant Snider. Adoring ‘Saba’ of Shira and Jenna Cohen; Cameron and Ariel Cohen; and Joel Snider. Son of the late Isaac and the late Farida Cohen. Dear brother of Arlette Mizrahi, the late Eliane Sasson, and Claud Cohen. Abe was a self-made man with a generous spirit like no other. Small was never an option for him; he went big in everything he did – how he lived, how he loved, and always how he played his hand at the Blackjack tables. Abe leaves behind a legacy of kindness that touched so many in his eighty-three beautiful years. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his heartbroken family, his team at Contex International, and his many friends around the world. The family would like to thank the team of doctors and nurses at the Jewish General Hospital who supported us through this journey.
