It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Ryan, aged 63 years old. Carol Ann passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on Saturday, April 11, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She is predeceased by her parents, Jean and Jim Ryan, and siblings Brenda Byrne (Gary), Edward Ryan (Theresa) and Tony Ryan. Left to mourn her loss are her loving foster children: Derek, Chrissie and Ronnie, siblings: Mary Madden (Sam), Sandy Hutchings (Frank), Mike Ryan (Michelle), Bob Ryan (Maureen), Gary Ryan (Wanda), Terry Ryan (Jaime), and Charmaine Ryan. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews, especially Erica and Gary Byrne. Thanks to all of her unwavering friends: Jeanine Collins and family, Tina Tilley and Colleen Hafey-Pretty for their comfort and support over the years. Carol Ann’s family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the numerous doctors, nurses and staff that helped care for her during her illness. Carol Ann will be forever remembered and cherished for her kind and loving ways and for her love of family. She will live on in the hearts of the loved ones she leaves behind. Cremation has taken place. A Private burial will take place at a later day. Donations in her memory may be made to The Gathering Place.

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best.”
