MATAS, Frank — It is with great sadness that Frank’s family announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at the age of 56. He is survived by his loving wife Linda (nee Evdokimenko), his daughter Trinity, and his sister Julie Matas. He is predeceased by his parents.
Frank was born in Oshawa, Ontario on September 19, 1963 to Frank and Mary Matas. The family relocated to Winnipeg in 1973, where Frank earned degrees in marketing and political science from Red River College and the University of Manitoba.
Frank was a devoted husband to Linda, his high school sweetheart, and father to Trinity, the center of his world. As a friend, he was known for his racy sense of humour and infectious enthusiasm for motorcycle riding, mountain biking, pricey gadgets, good company and martinis. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
