GEREIN, Donald Jacob

We are saddened to announce the passing of Donald Jacob Gerein. He was a well known member of the Kelowna community, being of the few born and raised here. Touching every part of these lands, whether that be through orchards or real estate he knew every part of this town. His three wonderful children; Marci Gray and husband Josh, Anthony Gerein and wife Ashley, new granddaughter Olivia, and Julian his youngest, who will continue in his footsteps.
He also leaves a powerful presence missing in surviving mother Eva, brother Tim, Sister Karen, and several nieces and nephews lives. Don knew many from his acts of charity and business dealings in the community. Even though he may be gone, he lives through all of us. His favourite spot to enjoy the day was on his peach orchard looking over this beautiful city with the love of his life Karen Mellor. We will forever remember him there looking over us with Papa Jack Gerein.
