The family would like to thank Dr. Serge Laliberte, Dr. John Davies, Dr. Scott Murrary, Pastor Williams, Erin McCabe, and Marilyn Higgins and all of the Bayshore PSWs for your kindness and compassion and excellent medical care during her brief illness.
An extra special thanks to Brad Young for making sure she had her meals, Loretta Young for being by her side, and Nurse Erin VanHoof from Bayshore for helping guide her on her journey. We would also like to thank everyone for their many visits, telephone calls, and prayers.
Marilyn loved a good cup of coffee and great conversation; it was always guaranteed that there would also be lots of laughter. She always had an open-door policy and enjoyed when her grandchildren/great-grandchildren stopped by for visits. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church (Locksley) where she attended service, helped with Braille and was a member of the Grace Ladies Aid.
We will always miss you but we have so many wonderful memories of you, we will always think of you with a smile.
Respecting Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, and with anticipation of improvements, the family is hopeful to have a Celebration of Marilyn’s life at Grace Lutheran Church , Locksley in the near future. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Grace Lutheran Church , Locksley or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)
