Taken from us suddenly at the age of 87, at home on Thursday, December 10th 2020. Beloved wife of the late Ron Coghill. Loving mother of Bill Coghill (Jen Valenti) from North Bay, Bob Coghill (Al) from British Columbia, Bonnie (Stephen) Hanmore from Midland, and Brad Coghill (Lorna Contois) from Penetang. Dear Gramma to Jeff (Erika) Coghill, Kristy (Danny) Gosselin, Christina (Kelvin) Tubman, Mark (Candice) Hanmore, Scott Coghill (Melissa), and Julie Coghill (Steven Townsend). Dear sister of the late Donna Fleming, and sisters Carolyn (George) Shore, and Dee Leonard. Lovingly remembered by her 12 Great grandchildren. Lee will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Lee went to Evergreen Public School, she worked at Tippet Richardson in Toronto then moved back to Midland in 1973 where she worked for Red Cross, St. Andrews Hospital on switchboard, Ontario Hospital until retirement. Lee volunteered at ARC, Saturday Bowling, House Inspections, Meals on wheels and Ontario Special Olympics 1991. Lee received the Richard D Ivan’s Memorial Award “Volunteer of the Year” 2001-2002, Midland 125 Anniversary 2003, Lee Coghill Midland Seniors Council.
A special thanks to her girls from CCAC also Erin Fairbanks for her wonderful care. Shout out to staff at Guardian Arcade Pharmacy. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service was held on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 1pm at Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551. Memorial donations to Georgian Bay General Hospital, Sick Children’s Hospital or Huronia Living would be appreciated by the family if desired.
