It is with great sadness we announce the death of Minnie (Harmina) Pietrenella Klop. She died peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 94; now joined with her beloved husband Neil (Cornelis) Klop and granddaughter Karen Wells (Klop); dear mother of Anja, Marieke (France), Carla (Bill), and Neil (Linda). Loving grandmother of Kevin (Sally), Dean, Kerri (Olivia), Keith (Sonia), Christy (J.P), Craig, Marshall (Caroline), Chad (Dana), Jaime (Steven), Casey (Natasha), Joshua (Leanne). Great grandmother of 17, and great-great grandmother of 1.
Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Saturday, November 21st from 10am-12noon. Pursuant to the current situation, Covid regulations will be observed.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 2 p.m. Although the service is private, the family wishes to invite friends and extended family to view the service Livestream via the funeral home website, on Mrs. Klop’s obituary page by clicking the Photos / Videos tab .
As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. David and St. Martin Presbyterian Church (444 St. Laurent Boulevard, Ottawa, K1K 2Z6 ) would be appreciated.
