Peacefully, at Glen Stor Dun Lodge, Cornwall, Ontario on Friday, November 13, 2020 in her 93rd year. Pearl, beloved wife of the late Ivan Johnson (1995) and the late Aimé Piché (1957). Loving mother of Donald Piché (Jane) of Cornwall, Ontario, Richard Piché (Margaret) of Spring Bay, Ontario, and Karen Root of Columbus, Ohio. Proud grandmother of Marc (Sarah) Piché of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lori Piché (Martin Goulet) of Gatineau, Québec, Kristen Piché of Toronto, Ontario, Nathan (Leah) Piché of Ottawa, Ontario, Matthew (Emily) Piché of Waterloo, Ontario, Aimée Anderson (Tom) of Ottawa, Ontario, Elisabeth Root and Ashlynn Root of Columbus, Ohio; and great grandmother of Sophie, Ivan, Ezra, Marilyse, Annabelle, Clara, Charlotte. Dear sister of Doreen Gilliland of Brookfield, Connecticut. Predeceased by her parents Hamilton McAra (1978) and Nellie (Sedore) McAra (1977), and by her siblings Anne, Englea, and Donald.
