Louise’s Obituary
Peterson, Louise Elsie – Sandy Point; It is with great sadness that we, the family of Louise Elsie Peterson, announce the sudden passing of our dear sister at her home in Lower Sandy Point on November 9, 2020 at the age of 83. Born in Port Clyde in December 1936 she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Elsie (Bower) Nickerson. Louise did a lot of baby sitting and cleaning houses for others. She spent many hours talking to friends and family on the phone and she thoroughly enjoyed watching television. She also enjoyed meeting friends for coffee at the mall. Louise was predeceased by her husband Richard “Dick” Peterson; brothers, Douglas, Allison, Gordon and Lawrence “Buck”; sisters, Dorothy and Jeanette. She is survived by sisters, Evangeline Swaine and Frances Stoddard, both of Bay Side Home; Thelma Swaine, North West Harbor and Virginia Nickerson, Port Clyde, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was always very thankful for all that was done for her. Her neighbors were very helpful and thoughtful. Daily visits were made by the V.O.N and greatly appreciated by Louise. A graveside service will take place on Friday, November 13 in Dall Cemetery, Lower Sandy Point with Pastor Cindy Dunnett officiating where interment will also take place. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to a local SPCA or charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. You may sign the guest book at:www.huskilson.net
