Kevin Alexander Myette
1953-2020
Myette, Kevin Alexander, age 67, of Lower South River,
Antigonish County, passed away on November 3, 2020, in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Ernest and
Virginia (Clyde) Myette.
Though he was a quiet person, once you got to know
him you he was very easy to like, and you would
have experienced his willingness to help with whatever he
could and asked nor expected anything in return. His job as an
electrician (IBEW-625) took him through various parts of Canada and
the US which he enjoyed but he was most happy in his hometown
of Antigonish. He cooked a mean feed of lobster which
were eaten and loved by many, some saying they were the best
they had ever had. His John Deere mower was his pride and
joy, and he enjoyed many an hour on it.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debbie (Landry);
brother, Jeffrey (Darlene), South River Road; sisters, Virginia
(Gordon) Grieve, Oshawa, ON; Maureen (John) DeCoste, Truro; and
Lorraine Myette; and several nieces and nephews.
Predecease by his sister, Jennifer, in
infancy.
