David’s Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the families of the late David Crocker announce his tragic passing on Sunday October 25th, 2020 at the age of 37 years.
David leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Cameron and Hannah, Julia the mother of his children, his Mom and dad; Oleta and Calvin Crocker. His mother; Deborah Ferrier (David), and father; Shawn Brake (Donna Gavin), his brother; Darren (Michella), sister; Jennifer (Anthony), adopted siblings; Emily, Austin, Kendra, and Shamar, his aunts, and uncles; Glenda (Chris), Dennis (Tina), Joe (Doreen, Hilda (Freeman), Susan (Aubrey), Elaine (Derek, Millicent, Shelly, and Derek (Kristina), his best friends; Glenn, Tyler, Selwyn, Henry, and the list goes on, his son from another mother Brian. David was predeceased by his grandparents; Mary and Valance Brake, and his best friend; Stevie. David also leaves to mourn his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends.
David was an old soul at heart with stories he told from generations ago people twice his age would not know. He had a love for his children beyond reach, a love for the sea where his dream was to own his own fishing enterprise. He had a love and passion for horses no one could break especially his loyal horse Jock that we know he is now riding off into the sunset on. He spent his days with his dad tinkering in the garage doing small jobs from making trailers to fixing trucks and with days just sitting with him watching the traffic go by.
There will be a private funeral service for immediate family only on Friday, October 30th, 2020, at 2:00 pm, from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, with Canon. Rev Francis Elgar officiating. Then keeping with David’s wishes cremation to follow.
