Obituary of Leora Rebecca Tingley
Tingley, Leora Rebecca, 89 of Digby passed away September 7, 2020 in Tideview Terrace, Digby. Born in Riverhead, Shelburne County, she was a daughter of the late Fulton Joseph and Mary (Church) Kendrick. Leora enjoyed quilting, knitting, cooking and making pickles many of which she gave away to friends. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Tingley; son, William “Billy” Hatfield (Lorraine dec.) of New Brunswick, daughter Geneva (Wayne) Taran of Ontario; step-sons, Timothy (Kimberly) of Deep Brook; Leonard (Monica) of Ontario and Gary (Cheryl) of Ont.; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter She was predeceased by her first husband Athanase Hatfield; sisters: Vera and Helen; brothers, Carl, Allan, and Alpius. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020, with Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Legassie officiating all from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Burial will be in the Clementsvale Cemetery.
