In the evening of August 24, 2020 John Hardy passed away, with family by his side. After battling a courageous war against cancer.
He is remembered for his love of fishing, a trade that has been passed onto his children and grandchildren. John Hardy lived a simple life. A life that was full of love and peace. He made every effort to put his family first and used his time here on earth to teach these values to his family. John Hardy only had one true love which was his dog. They say dogs are a man’s best friend and these two are living proof of this.
John Hardy will be missed by Son; Jason Hardy, Grandchildren; Damen and Seyera, Daughter; Natalie Hardy and Chad Kroetsch, Grandchildren; Samantha, Jessy and Kate-Lynn, Great-Grandchild; Ella, Daliah and Daisy. Along with Brothers and Sisters, nieces and nephews.
Not all battles are meant to be won. It’s time for the sun, the waves and the sand.
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’
