Viola Mary Horne
1932-2020
It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of
Viola Mary Horne on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Born on October 7, 1932,
she was the daughter of the late Peter and Louise (Sabattis)
Atwin.
Viola will be dearly missed by her daughter Liz Paul;
daughter-in-law Dereta Horne; brother Clarence
« Timer » Atwin (now the last remaining member of his
immediate family); grandson Leo Paul (Vicki Sypher); granddaughter
Mary Paul; precious great grandchildren Miley-Lou, Mia, Bella, Everly,
Cohen, Hayden, Sammy, and Gage; dear friend and neighbour Debbie
Armstrong; cherished fur-baby Sally Anne as well as many nieces,
nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Viola was predeceased buy her
husband Everett Samuel Horne; step-son Sam Horne; sisters Annie
Saulis, Christine Nash, Elizabeth Atwin; brothers John and Everett
Atwin as well as an infant brother; sisters-in-law Ethel Horne and
Evelyn Whitney.
There will be a graveside service to honour Viola
on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at the St. Vincent de Paul
Cemetery. Funeral staff will be on site to aid in social distancing
procedures. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the
donor’s choosing would be appreciated by the family.
